Under Water Egg Hunt

The Under Water Egg Hunt will be held in Crystal River at the Bicentennial Park Pool. The first 100 kids will be admitted free and the cost of admission will be $1.00 for those after the first 100.

Do you know if the kids will actually be hunting for eggs in the Crystal River pool? It sounds pretty cool, but I have a young child and I'm wondering if it will be safe.

According to the Citrus County BOCC, the children will need their own baskets and swimming items; while they can participate in a pool hunt, there will also be a land based hunt for the younger children and non-swimmers. So, yes it should be safe and supervised, but it sounds as if ultimately you will need to decide which hunt your child should partake in.
